Britton's Birthday

Britton turned one! Can you believe it?! We are having more and more fun together as he gets older. Mommy let him eat a cupcake all by himself! He made a mess but it was funny to watch.

Britton is walking! It's so much fun to see him walking. He loves to follow me around. I can't wait until he can run with me. We love to play hide-and-seek. Britton is really good at finding me. See the video below of him walking.

Britton also finally has teeth! I didn't think he was ever going to get them. He has two on the bottom and the top two are coming in too.

Boxes, boxes & more boxes...

We moved! We were outgrowing our house so we decided to look for a new house. After a long search we found one that's just right. We put all our stuff in lots and lots of boxes, loaded up the truck (a few times) and moved it to the new house. I kept getting confused and asked mommy and daddy when we are taking our stuff back to the old house. But now that we've been staying in the new house for a couple weeks I don't think we are moving back. I love the new house! It has stairs...that's my favorite part. Once we are moved in a little more, I'll take more photos. Hope you will visit us soon.

Christmas is finally here!

Finally, it's Christmas. I've been wainting a long time for this and I had to be a really good girl. Every day in December, I got to open up a door on the calendar and there was a chocolate inside! When all the doors were open...it was Christmas! I wish there was a calendar with chocolate in it for the whole year. Mommy says they only have that for the Christmas countdown. Bummer.

We got to open one present under our tree on Christmas eve.

Britton and I are very lucky. We have LOTS of people who love us and spoiled us for Christmas. Thank you to everyone who loves us. We love you lots too!!! See you in 2011!

As you can see, Britton did not like this but I got to tell Santa what I wanted for Christmas...a real live elephant. I told mommy we could keep him in our backyard and feed him dog food. I'm sure Willy and Charlie wouldn't mind sharing.

Carnival

Every year a carnival comes to our town and this year I was big enough to go on the rides. I had so much fun. I went on a spinning bear, roller coaster, big slide, train, pink elephant and a ferris wheel. I wanted mommy to go with me on the ferris wheel even though she didn't want to go (I don't think she likes them but she was brave).

He was too small for the rides but he still had fun.

Britton...nine months old!

Britton is nine months old. Mommy and I took him to the doctor for his check-up. He was very brave when he got shots in his leg. The nurse gave him a little duck and I sang him a song so he wasn't sad. I was surprised he didn't even cry. I'm pretty sure I would cry if I had to get a shot.

Britton loves to crawl around, sing and play. His favorite toys to play with are cars and any kind of ball. He also loves to chase me around. We have so much fun together and I love to make him laugh.

Trick or treat

Did you know, on Halloween if you knock on your neighbors door and say trick or treat they give you candy? I had know idea...until today! I have dressed up in the past but this was my very first time trick or treating. I had so much fun.

The very first house I went to I said trick or treat with no hesitation. Then I said, let's go to MORE houses! Britton came too but he didn't get any candy. He doesn't have any teeth yet!

To the park...finally!

If you live in Arizona, you know how hot it is. If you don't, trust me...it's HOT! So hot that sometimes we can't even go to the park. Well it's finally getting cool enough that we can go to the park and I can ride down the slide without burning my buns! I'm getting so good at riding my tricycle, mommy even let me ride it to the park.
