Carnival

Every year a carnival comes to our town and this year I was big enough to go on the rides. I had so much fun. I went on a spinning bear, roller coaster, big slide, train, pink elephant and a ferris wheel. I wanted mommy to go with me on the ferris wheel even though she didn't want to go (I don't think she likes them but she was brave).

Britton came too.
He was too small for the rides but he still had fun.

Britton...nine months old!

Britton is nine months old. Mommy and I took him to the doctor for his check-up. He was very brave when he got shots in his leg. The nurse gave him a little duck and I sang him a song so he wasn't sad. I was surprised he didn't even cry. I'm pretty sure I would cry if I had to get a shot.

weight: 23 lbs. 11 oz. (90th percentile)
height: 29.5 inches (90th percentile)

Britton loves to crawl around, sing and play. His favorite toys to play with are cars and any kind of ball. He also loves to chase me around. We have so much fun together and I love to make him laugh.

Just being silly...

Helping mom do laundry...kind of.

So fun!

Trick or treat

Did you know, on Halloween if you knock on your neighbors door and say trick or treat they give you candy? I had know idea...until today! I have dressed up in the past but this was my very first time trick or treating. I had so much fun.

The very first house I went to I said trick or treat with no hesitation. Then I said, let's go to MORE houses! Britton came too but he didn't get any candy. He doesn't have any teeth yet!

The cutest pirate and monkey EVER!

To the park...finally!

If you live in Arizona, you know how hot it is. If you don't, trust me...it's HOT! So hot that sometimes we can't even go to the park. Well it's finally getting cool enough that we can go to the park and I can ride down the slide without burning my buns! I'm getting so good at riding my tricycle, mommy even let me ride it to the park.

Here I go!

Mommy, I'm gonna count to three and then I'll go.

1, 2, 3...

Yoga baby...

Britton is very silly. He does a lot of crazy poses. Mommy calls him yoga baby. Feel free to do the poses along with him.

He starts off easy...
Cow pose (Bitilasana)

Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)

I see you...

Then he takes it to the advanced level...
Seated Forward Bend (Paschimottanasana)

(Yes, he sleeps like this sometimes!)

Spelling bee

I know how to sing my alphabet so now I have been learning the letter sounds and how to spell. I'm starting on the small words but I do know how to spell my name. One day I'll be able to spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

New hair do

Britton has crazy hair. It is always sticking up. Mommy tries to comb it down but it ends up straight in the air a few minutes later. So we decided to give up the battle and give him a faux hawk using a little gel. Doesn't he look handsome!

Say cheeeeeese.

I think he likes it.

Such a cutie.

Play-Doh

Mommy and daddy bought me Play-Doh. I'm having so much fun playing with it. Mommy has lots of fun too (Sometimes more than me I think). I wanted Britton to play too but mommy says he would probably eat it.

Britton...six months old!

Britton is six months old. My oh my how time does fly. He had his six month well-baby doctor visit. He is getting very big. I keep thinking one day I will wake up and he will be bigger than me. Mommy compared our six month doctor visits and Britton is four pounds heavier and one inch taller than I was at six months. What in the world is mommy feeding him?

weight: 21 lbs. 6 oz. (95%)
length: 28 inches (95 -97%)

Britton can sit up all by himself! He is also trying to crawl but so far he just goes backwards. I like to cheer him on and love to make him laugh. My favorite thing to do is run around him in a circle until we are both laughing hysterically.
